Iba a abrir las persianas del Bar diciendo que la noticia friki del día era la de la decimonovena dimisión de Dani Sánchez Llibre. Pero no. La auténtica locura llega desde los Estados Unidos donde Ryan Mc Geeney, un ex marine que se ha pasado seis meses en Afganistán y que ahora es fotógrafo del Standar Examiner, fue atravesado por una jabalina. En vez de marearse, se puso a echar fotos como la de arriba "porque sino el editor de mi diario se hubiese enfadado".

Otras dos frases que pasarán a la historia de la noticia son:
1. "Suerte que en Afganistán no habían jabalinas..." y
2. " Lo primero que pensé fue "menos mal que trajimos una segunda jabalina", pronunciada por el entrenador del chaval lanzador.
